Follow RSS feeds from Chrome Browser

Google reader was one of the best RSS feed readers but Google killed the product some time ago. But now, they are bringing this RSS reader in new form. RSS feed reading is one of the easiest way to get the update from any blog or website. This feature “Follow RSS feeds” has made a comeback now in google chrome and currently in Google chrome beta version for Android ( version 92 or above). It is not yet available in widely used public version and will be available soon for all.

How to enable this option ?

First open the google chrome beta app, in the address bar type “Chrome://flags/#web-feed

Enable ” Web Feed”. Change it too “Enabled” from Default.

Now, go to any website for example “tech4india.in”, and click on the three dot menu in top right

In the bottom, you will be getting option “Tech4india.in” with “Follow”.

Click on Follow and now go to the home page of chrome. There you will be seeing 2 columns below the favorite website list.

One will “For you” which will be list of the news based on your browsing history. Second Tab ” Followed by You”. In this you can see posts from the website or blog you are following. You can manage the list of the websites you follow using settings button and manage.

Remember this “Follow RSS feeds” is only available in Google Chrome beta for Android and not available in Desktop version
